Boost Your Joint Health with the Power of Joint Guard

In the human body, joints play an essential role in enabling us to perform activities such as walking, running, dancing, exercising, etc.

As we age, our joints become stiffer and less flexible due to a decrease in the amount of lubricating fluid (synovial fluid) within our joints, as well as thinning cartilage. In addition, ligaments tend to shorten and lose some flexibility, resulting in a stiff feeling in the joints.

This condition is commonly known as osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a chronic degenerative disorder. Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. Some people call it degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis. It is extremely prevalent in society and is a major cause of disability.

Joint guard is a formulated functional food product that helps to reduce the symptoms of osteoarthritis and make the movement easy.

Let’s learn more about joint guard and how you can boost your joint health with it in this blog!

How Does Joint Guard Boost Your Joint Health?

Joint Guard comes in capsule form. One bottle of Joint Guard has 90 capsules and patients are instructed to take 3 capsules a day for at least 3 months for better result.

Ingredients of Joint Guard are Organic Curcumins, Organic Turmeric Powder, Organic Cinnamon Oil, Organic Black Pepper Extract, Organic Ginger Oil, Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (Food Grade), Glucosamine Sulfate (Food Grade) and Chondroitin Sulfate (Food Grade).

All ingredients in combination helps to reduce cartilage breakdown in the joint, increses synovial fluid and reduce the pain and inflammation of the joint.

Let’s talk in detail,

Helps to reduce Cartilage breakdown:

Glucosamine supports joint health. It has been shown that glucosamine enhances the production of cartilage matrix components in chondrocyte culture, such as aggrecan and collagen type II. Further experiments have shown that glucosamine prevents collagen degeneration in chondrocytes by inhibiting lipoxidation reactions and protein oxidation. Knee (Articular) Cartilage Damage: Causes & Treatment

First, it has shown an anabolic stimulating effect on cartilage synthesis. Furthermore, it inhibits by means of several anti-inflammatory and antioxidant mechanisms, the catabolic cartilage degenerating reactions observed in OA. This can delay cartilage degeneration in OA which leads to a reduction in pain and swelling as well as to increased mobility of the affected joint.

From the clinical trials, it can be concluded that long-term treatment with glucosamine:

  • Reduces pain,
  • Improves function/mobility of the joint,
  • Reduces OA progression,
  • Reduces risk of total joint replacement.

Chondroitin sulfate (CS) stimulates the chondrocyte metabolism, leading to the synthesis of collagen and proteoglycan, the basic components of new cartilage. CS inhibits cartilage destruction processes and stimulates the anabolic processes involved in new cartilage formation.

Helps to restores Synovial Fluid:

Chondroitin sulfate (CS) is one of the natural glycosaminglycans (GAG) composed of the alternating sugars D-glucuronic acid (GlcA) and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine (GalNAc). It is an important component of the extracellular matrix (ECM). CS is the most frequent GAG in the aggrecan molecule of the cartilage. Due to the negative charge of CS, it is responsible for the water retention of the cartilage, which is important for pressure resistance.  A Normative Study of the Synovial Fluid Proteome from Healthy Porcine Knee Joints | Journal of Proteome Research

CS increases the hyaluronan production by human synovial cells, which has a beneficial effect on maintaining viscosity in the synovial fluid. CS inhibits the enzymes leukocyte elastase and hyaluronidase, which are found in high concentration in the synovial fluid of patients with rheumatic diseases. CS also increases the production of hyaluronic acid by synovial cells, which subsequently improves the viscosity and the synovial fluid levels.

Glucosamine also increases hyaluronic acid production in synovium explants.

Helps to reduce Inflammation:

Our potent joint supplement formula has been developed with the perfect combination of Methyl Sulfonyl Methane and Glucosamine to help fight inflammation and aid in tissue restoration.

The bioactive compounds derived from turmeric are called curcumins which have shown therapeutic potential in various pathologies and this part is most widely studied.

Curcumin has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative and immunomodulatory effects, and can inhibit T cell activation, proliferation and production of pro-inflammatory factors by acting on MAPKs, AP-1, NF-κB pathways.

Taking Joint guard may not show its magic overnight. It’s not a painkiller, so it will work on your joints slowly. Moreover, it will make your joints strong and healthy!
